ABOUT JANE
Jane is an Actor, Director, Teaching Artist and Coach based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
As an actor, she has appeared onstage with many Twin Cities theatres, including The Guthrie Theatre, The Children's Theatre, Park Square Theatre, Theatre Latte Da, History Theatre, Old Log Theatre, Mixed Blood Theatre, Jungle Theatre, Yellow Tree Theatre, Ten Thousand Things, Frank Theatre, Dark and Stormy Productions, Gremlin Theatre, Zephyr Theatre, and Walking Shadow, among others.
She appeared in back to back Ivey Award winning productions for Doubt and Compleat Female Stage Beauty and was named Best Actress in a Drama by Lavender Magazine for her work in Rocket to the Moon. She was recently awarded Best Dramatic Performance for her work in The Revolutionists and The Thin Place by the Twin Cities Theatre Bloggers.
She has appeared onscreen in many films, industrials, commercials and voiceovers, including an episode of the miniseries Me, Hereafter, currently streaming on Hulu, as well as an episode of Documentary Now! opposite Fred Armisen, currently streaming on Netflix.
She is represented by Moore Creative Talent Agency, and is a proud member of Actors Equity.
As a director, she has directed or assistant directed for many companies, including Lakeshore Players, History Theatre, Ten Thousand Things, Woodbury High School, and Edina High School.
As a teaching artist, Jane has taught residencies, workshops, and master classes all over Minnesota, collaborating often with Spotlight Education, Steppingstone Theatre, Youth Performance Company, Yellow Tree Theatre, and many others.
Jane also has extensive experience as a private coach, over the years her coaching services have been utilized by everyone from students to executives to politicians to Santa Claus.
Jane is a hard worker, a loud laugher, and delights in being compared to Leslie Knope in Parks and Recreation.
